Does having a belief and faith in a religion make a person authentic?
I was borned into a family of taoism faith and changed my religion to christianity when I got married. All these years I have not been very religious not because that I don't believe in God, but I didn't like the way some people preach about their religions. Religion is a human activity and a human construct (human interpretation).
I think, people can still be authentic even though they are not religious; it is more the human part of us that make us an authentic person than our belief or faith.
